This season, Centre Circle hit the road.
Over the course of two months, we travelled to 22 different County Cup Finals across England - from Derbyshire to Dorset, Cambridgeshire to Cheshire - to shine a light on the people, passion, and pride that define grassroots football.
At each final, we set up our cameras not just to film the matches, but to celebrate what these days really represent. The build-up. The nerves. The team talks. The last-ditch tackles and top-corner goals. The parents pacing the touchline. The volunteers organising medals. The coaches rallying their players, win or lose.
These aren’t just matches - they’re milestones. For many of the players involved, a County Cup Final is the biggest game they’ve ever played in. And for the clubs, coaches and families who support them, it’s a moment to be remembered.
We filmed every single final completely free of charge, supporting the County FAs who make these events happen and giving local footballers the chance to relive their big day through professional-quality footage.
But it wasn’t just about the highlights. This tour was a reminder of why grassroots football matters. It brings communities together. It gives young people confidence. It creates memories that last far beyond the final whistle.
