On Wednesday night, we had the pleasure of attending the London Football Grassroots Awards, hosted by our partners at London FA, featuring special guest Chris Hughton.

The evening celebrated the volunteers, coaches, referees and organisers who dedicate their time -often behind the scenes - to making grassroots football possible across the capital. From safeguarding leads to long-serving club secretaries, every winner and nominee represented the very best of our game.

Earlier this year, our own Jordan Elgott joined the judging panel to help select the winners. With such a high standard of nominations, it was no easy task. Every single nominee had made a genuine impact in their community and deserved recognition.

Attending the event alongside Centre Circle CEO Rohan Anand, we were reminded once again why we do what we do - to support and celebrate the people who keep grassroots football running, week in, week out.

A huge thank you to the team at London FA for the warm welcome and for continuing to drive positive change across London’s football community.
